T-shirt fabric selections available: v Cotton -- 100% cotton. v Cotton Blends -- Cotton/poly blends and other blends. v Bamboo -- Bamboo is a wonderful fiber. It is softer than cotton, wicks moisture away from your body, and keeps you cooler. v Hemp -- Technically, hemp is superior to cotton. The fibers are more durable and hemp has a better UV protection. It also wicks moisture away from your body and is anti-microbial. It's hard to ask for more in a fiber! v Organic Cotton -- Did you know that regular cotton uses 10% of the world's pesticides (from seed to maturity). Wow! Was that a surprise to you because it was to me. And if removing some of the pesticides in our world is not enough, how about that organic cotton uses less water and is a rotation crop whereas regular cotton fields are not rotated so the land never has time to regenerate its lost nutrients. We all know how important water is to our sustainability on our planet. It's nice to know that the organic cotton farmers care about our planet as much as we do. |
